For parents considering Summit (Ottawa's only 7-8 Alternative School) for their children next year, the Summit Open House is from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31st. Summit it co-located in Fischer Park middle school. More information can be found here.

For folks in the Ottawa East and Sandy Hill areas, the Alta Vista Corridor plans are of great interest. The City of Ottawa is holding an Open House on Tuesday, March 30th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the RA Centre. The consultant's preferred option is for a 4-lane highway.
