OCASC and ABC are planning a mock funeral for equity and excellence in the school system next Monday from 6:00 - 7:30 P.M. outside a fundraising event at which the Education Minister is speaking.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PARENTS OF STUDENTS IN OCDSB SCHOOLS

In recognition of the vital programs and learning supports that are being cut from Ottawa Carleton District School Board schools due to provincial underfunding, the Ottawa Carleton Assembly of School Councils, the Association for Bright Children, and a number of other educational advocacy groups are holding a MOCK FUNERAL on MONDAY, MARCH 5TH, 6:00-7:30 p.m., outside the UKRAINIAN BANQUET HALL,1000 BYRON AVE., OTTAWA. This event will coincide with a speech to be given by ONTARIO EDUCATION MINISTER KATHLEEN WYNNE at a fundraising event for Liberal MPP Jim Watson . See attached OBITUARY for further information, and please pass this notice on to other OCDSB families and school contacts.
