The joint meeting for staff and parents/guardians, previously postponed, will be held on Wednesday, February 20th at 2:45pm to discuss the recommendations arising from the Alternative Schools Advisory Committee (ASAC) survey on alternative revitilization. The report from ASAC is available on the ASAC website, http://www.asac-ottawa.org/. Here are direct links to the report and the executive summary.

Poll -- Where would you have enrolled your child?

The Alternative Schools Advisory Committee (ASAC) is conducting a short poll to find out where alternative school students would likely be enrolled if the Alternative Program did not exist. One of our alternative school principals suggested that we need this information to strengthen ASAC's upcoming report to the school board (OCDSB).

All parents of children in the alternative schools are asked to take a moment to provide this information by visiting http://www.asac-ottawa.org/. Please choose the answer that you think is 'most likely'-you don't have to be certain. No contact information is required. Questions or comments? E-mail "chair @ asac-ottawa.org". Thank you for participating.
