Lady Evelyn Alternative School Council

This event is focused on ensuring sure that downtown communities specifically are provided a targeted opportunity to have good input into the upcoming OCDSB budget decisions to come. The Board is facing a significant shortfall for next year, several cut options are out for consultation and we genuinely want to consult with the community. www.ocdsbdowntowntrustees.ca
  Our event will feature OCDSB CFO Michael Clarke and be facilitated by CBC TVs Adrian Harewood. Soup, kid's choir, networking, dialogue and input and much more !!     Those who should consider coming would be principals of downtown schools, MLOs, school council members, community agency reps or child and youth workers who work in the downtown, neighbourhood community association reps, any citizen or concerned member of any downtown community who wants to ensure that their feedback gets provided on the school board's budget with respect to what is important to protect and what perhaps can be let go. We are especially concerned to make sure that we hear from members of downtown communities who ordinarily may not come out to such events and to make sure we hear from them also.   A report of the evening will be reflected back to all participants as well.
